Complete a speedrun to fight

, whose loot table includes ilvl 875 relics and the

mount.
Upon opening the door after zoning into Karazhan, the following emote happens: "The strange chill of a dark presence winds through the air." This starts the timer for the first crystal.
You have a STRICT timing to make it to Opera, kill Opera and click the first
Seelenfragment
. You have 8 minutes from the moment you zone in to click the first crystal.
From there on each
Seelenfragment
you click will add a bit of time to your timer. But it is very very tight.
After the first crystal you will gain a buff,
Medivhs Echo
, with a 6min duration. This is now your timer. As you click crystals, it will add a stacking buff and 5 minutes to the time you had left on your buff.
If you fail the speed run, you will get an emote notification: "The air grows slightly warmer".
The Soul Fragments are located as follows: 1 in the audience from Opera, 1 before Maiden (you don’t need to kill her), 1 after you kill Moroes, 1 in the Spider Room (then you click the portal to the stairway), 1 after you kill Curator.
If you click all the

within the allotted time, run back to Nightbane's room after killing Curator.
Upon clicking the final crystal in time, your timer buff will change to

and you will have 5 minutes to go speak with Medivh and summon Nightbane. When you speak to Medivh you get the

The original Roleplay upon summoning Nightbane will then play, and then you will be able to fight Nightbane.
Once you speak to Medivh and Nightbane is summoned, you are able to wipe without worry. He will still be there and shout at you as he continuously slays you.

Patch 7.1: October 25th Hotfixes
The first round of bugfixes and clarifications is up for Patch 7.1. Of Particular note:
Mythic Keystone dungeons now count towards the Legion Dungeon Event and Karazhan Attunement Quests.
Several specs have reduced stats for their PvP template, including Fire Mages, Frost Mage,s and Rogues.
The Sword of Light passive is now properly calculated into baseline damage for Retribution Paladins.
Sheathing weapons no longer causes the game to crash.

We’ve seen some talk among the community that you might be expecting to hear some news on legacy servers at BlizzCon, and we just wanted to take a moment to let you know that while we’re still discussing the possibility, we won’t have any updates to share on that until after the show.
These past few months we’ve been laser-focused on the launch of Legion and getting Patch 7.1: Return to Karazhan ready to go (it’s almost here!), as well as prepping for BlizzCon—which is always a huge undertaking itself. You’ve heard us say that the launch of Legion was just the beginning of the story we want to tell in this expansion. What we will focus on at BlizzCon is how the team is committed to making sure we bring you a steady stream of content going forward, and we can’t wait to share what’s next for Legion.

October 3rd Hotfixes: Vantus Runes in Mythic Emerald Nightmare, Mythic Il'gynoth, Keystone Timers
The latest round of hotfixes features some changes to Emerald Nightmare and Mythic+ Dungeons:
The Keystone timers for several dungeons have been adjusted.
Vantus Runes
can now be used in Mythic Emerald Nightmare.
On Mythic difficulty,
Il'gynoth
's health has been increased by 200%, but loses one-third of that value each time the
Auge von Il'gynoth
is defeated.
Our
Il'gynoth
and Mythic+ guides have been updated with today's hotfixes.
A common strategy for Mythic Il'gynoth involved using raid compositions that focus on maximizing burst damage to complete the encounter in a single phase. This approach removes huge portions of the encounter and can overly favor a specific set of classes and specializations, causing negative social pressures in groups that have yet to reach this encounter. These changes ensure that raid groups must enter Il'gynoth's core twice in order to complete the encounter on Mythic difficulty, but offset that change by speeding up the process of destroying the Eye to shorten the overall length of the encounter.

Another day closer to Legion; here's another guide spotlight on interesting Legion topics! Today we are highlighting gear and Class Halls.
Gear in Legion is designed around a fresh perspective; there are equivalent gearing paths and gear from any content has a small chance to proc the highest possible item level. For a few weeks at launch, the maximum cap is 850; it will increase to 895 later in Legion.
Class Halls in Legion are distinctive zones unique to each class where you can work on your artifact and progress on the Class Hall Campaign.
