So far, I find it pretty straighforward - left of portals for crafting, right for main quest, above flightmaster for the weekly dungeon quests, use portal for flight master and jumping to the maw. So far only minor annoyance is I have to go the up level for Maw jumping and the lack of auction house, but I can live with it. Looking forward to building portal from Sanctum to Oribos.
My only question is: why did they make a city that serves as a hub for both factions so freaking CRAMPED?
I didn't know the mailbox was so expensive. Can we have more than 2 on Oribos or is it out of budget?
The only issue I might see here is for people that use minimap/maps with unlocked player pins, like, the option to make the map rotate instead of the player. If you have it as default (I.E. Player rotates), you'll never get 'lost', and if you use addons to mark the places, you'll imbue on your brain in the future, the locations, from wherever you get into Oribos or from it's floors. You'll memorize that profession guys are always NE, Main Campaign NPCs SW, Top floor Flight master always SE, Capital City Portals West, etc.Edit: I too have the Long Boi, and if I'm going AFK I try to mount on it so others can use the AH, feel their pain. Even before I got it I decided, long ago, to put Engineering on most of my toons, for its uses, not only early AH access on Expansions. If only Blizz would make it a 'Secondary Profession' Instead...
It’s the fact that it all looks the same that makes it very easy to get lost. You know Dalaran is also just a big circle too, but the shops have different different storefronts and signs that are closer to the ground.
Once you remember portal to capital is on west and flighmaster is on east so you can leave the place ASAP so it's not so painful
The teleport pad you want is the eastern-most one. This is the one right outside the Innkeeper. It's the exact opposite of the exterior spawn point if you're arriving from the Maw/City portals. From this pad the flight master is a slight camera turn to the right.
Are Blizzard like.. capable anymore? Can they make good games? Oribos is a literal airport, the place you find the most signs of any public facility in real life, and yet this one blows.
I think about it as a clock and that helps me to remember where things are. Innkeeper and mailbox is at 3:00, Covenants at 7:30, professions at 10:30 etc. Flightmaster is 4:30 on the upper level. Simples :).
Oribos - For those of us who missed Undercity after it was destroyed.
