Oh comeon i still need the Antoran Charhound :(
I wiped on Helya 3 times yesterday, that $%^& was not easy. Finally killed her as a tank.
There's an insanely high chance that they just didn't flip the switch on the legacy buff yet. We're intended to *EASILY* blaze through any content that was "11 levels lower than us", but now they're gonna need to change the wording to "more than 1 full expansion of levels".Seriously, if blizzard is the king of oversighting things. The switch just isn't flipped yet. It should be flipped at 51 if their original philosophy of "full expansion +1 levels" is still true.
So instead of leveling up and getting stronger in an MMO as is THE WAY OF THINGS. Blizz / Activision thinks is fine with us if we waste time, pay to play then GET WEAKER AS WE LEVEL? Considering 90% of what I do in game is run old raids. Blizz can go $%^& themselves with this nonsense. Way to ruin the game even more! Wont be long this will be FLYFF or one of those other ridiculous pay to win mmorpgs' from Korea.
Reminds a bit of imbalance between karazhan and aq raid. Back in legion I was leveling my shaman and was abusing karazhan huge experience. I was around lvl 78. Then I wanted to try aq for viscendius (frost shock) but I wiped on first boss dealing no dmg
players: it's a MMORPG, stop making a solo game, make group activitiesalso players: stop making group activities, let us solo everything by hacking the numbers
I think it's reasonable to give Blizzard a pass on the issues we saw after the first level squish, with scaling of older content being broken. However, when you consider that this happens consistently with every stat squish, and now the level squish, even if predominantly due to loss of borrowed power systems from the expansions containing that older content, I think it's entirely reasonable to expect that Blizzard should know by now that these issues need to be considered, watched for, tested against, and corrected from the beginning. Reactionary fixes are one thing, but repeatedly failing to identify and rectify the underlying issues, that's another matter entirely.
What about a level 59?
I just entered Battle of Dazar'alor on Mythic difficulty as a lvl59 priest, just to check how that may work out in future 2-man-runs.I failed at the first trash group, did not even kill a single mob. That has nothing to do with Legion, I know. But in late BfA, we 2-manned most of Legion raids (at least on heroic difficulty) with normal heroic / LFR gear. I expected it somewhat the same, even better due to the squish. Well, looks like we'll have to wait until we grab the loot. I don't care at all about the gold, I just want to go there for the looks.
Not just Legion raid content, seems to apply across the board. Was wondering if something had happened when I was running some content between queues.
Yeah, Discipline Priest feels weaker than before. Pulling multiple mobs of the same level is much more dangerous in SL.
Scaling is totally F up, if you ask me. Just did normal Tomb and it was an absolute slog on my ilvl 148 warlock. It's like, the game thinks I am attacking a lvl 60. My skills are hitting things in the raid, the same as it would hit a normal lvl 60 mob. I absolutely could not get passed Maiden due to the dps check. Certain skills, like Channel Demonfire, seem to do the damage I would assume they would do, in a lower level raid. Most skills are not though. This stuff should be a cake-walk, like Archimond Mythic. Only thing you have to worry about is getting blown off the platform if you could not kill him fast enough.I also tried first boss Tomb mythic, could not even get him to 70%.That being said, I am able to heal myself with drain, much more than usually possible. The scaling on it is working correctly. Something is still wrong.
