Before laying into devs, bear in mind this is not something that currently needs to be fixed as the number of players at level 60 stands at zero, and it could well be on their to do list already. It does come across as kind of ego-centric of players to imagine that they are the only ones clever enough to spot these things.
You're comparing a fully geared mythic ny'alotha fully gemmed fully enchanted toon with one that i have no idea which gear it's using because it's higher than m0 but lower than normal castle nathria without a leggo, no gems, no enchants and without a covenant ability or covenant soulbind. That makes no sense.
Someone needs reminding that all pre-shadowlands content you will want azerite and your neck back in your bags for...That stuff will be stronger than anything you can get for this entire expansion in pre-shadowlands content, with legendaries in the same slots BARELY breaking even. Timewalking sets 2.0
There are always scaling problems like this that pop up with new expansions or even patches. I’m confident they will have this fixed before most people even encounter the problem.
Made Comparison from live (50) to beta (60). Methods are rather acurate. The decrease has gotten worse for some xpacs compared to earlier in beta.https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNJJAw5X6IYl_Wr7KSrS7LIM9-fHxs01zAOdR0CJ9ao/edit#gid=0
Sooo... we can just wear our Heart and Azerite gear when doing non-shadowlands stuff, right? This isn't ACTUALLY a big deal?
This is EXACTLY what I was afraid of. This better not last for months on end, or years until they decide to do something about it.
LOL really man, you are wearing lvl 130 gear for 8.3 and then you wear 190 gear and QQ that you can't do it get some comparable gear at least get 200 from mythics and then test it. I mean come on use some brains this isn't even an issue.
And the posts above are the reason blizzard won't fix anything for months if not year.Players themselves refuse to accept that it's a bug and keep pretending that it's related to loss of essences
I already wasnt able to solo anymore with the level squish patch :(( we cant even duo with a dk and a shadow priest..
And all this sh@ts because of those kids that crying over how long it takes to level up.I was 480ilvl melting everything up,now after prepatch i fight WQ bosses like raid bosses, and a friend which has 20ilvl lower toon same spec does more dps than me.....ty a lot for that cough "balanced" content cough.... We definetely should stayed on 120-130 course. If i remmember correctly at end of Legion it wasnt hard to kill world content at all, what about dungeons and raids.....i expect this to get even worst with progressing, because as one above me said, this game is REALLY not intended to be squished on levels.Fun Fact: The players in classic are higher level than us on live.....GOOD WORK BLIZZ!
I really, really enjoyed, for the first time in along while, the toons I had leveled up to 50. My locks and hunters were performing great, my shadow priest was happy. Even my trial toons in other classes played well at 50. I was enjoying the additional power of the neck and back pieces; the resulting power of both reflected how much extra time and effort that you were willing to put into playing the toon. Corruption was even enjoyable, even if you did not want to worry about getting specialized essences. For me, this was peak enjoyment.Having been playing this game since 2007 and I do not enjoy the stat squish nor the change in talent trees, once again. It seems like every couple of years, a new team developer decides that he/she thinks that they have a better way to play the game and completely screw up the talent trees once again with their new ideas of gamer play. What is so wrong about leaving portions of the game, like talent trees, the f* alone ! Seriously. Just when we get to the end game content of the last expansion and associated patches, now we have to go through and learn a new system all over again if we want to enjoy the new content. How much time and effort did we put into leveling the neck piece, or maxing out the cloak, that is all now for nothing as the new expansion ignores all of that work in favour of the new "covenants"...? And making it more difficult to solo previous content? What is the point in that? Actually eliminating older end game content for us at this time and weakening our toons, until who knows when, does not seem like a smart business decision...?I guess our only option is to quit purchasing new content, as there will always be some newbie running things that thinks that they have the best way to play the game in mind and wants to change it for the next expansion to try out "their" new idea.Rant over... and sorry for any spelling or grammatical errors.
Sure glad beta is there to let us test and see if we can solo OLD content and not idk test to make sure the NEW content is bug free and ready to play. That's just me I guess.
