I dont know why people keep saying that Blizzard its going to "sink" just because OLD key people are leaving, a lot of companies (regardless of their main industry type: food, games, movies, music, etc) in their history got the same experience has Blizzard and they still "kicking", the success of a company depends of the policies and strategyes, regardless who ever makes them...
stop saying bull!@#$ -.- please stop play
i wish you best of luck
Well, several old-timers are leaving in a relatively short time frame, amidst controversies regarding the company. It might not be the end of the world, but we shouldn't completely write off the possibility of them leaving because they don't feel at home anymore.
Sad to see him go, but this guys talent is ultimately wasted at modern blizzard. Looking forward to seeing where he goes next.
I got to meet him and sit next to him during a panel he attended as an audience member at Blizzcon 2017. Really, really, really nice guy. I actually nervously got his title name wrong even though I knew realistically what it was, but he was nice about it and we chatted about the new Hearthstone expansion and how DnD like the Dungeon runs felt. Really wish him well.
Bald man was here.
I personally never was a fan of Draenor levelling story-wise, MoP, Legion and BfA all work so much better for my tastes. Too lazy to state all the reasons, but the biggest is that we basically were told very little lore in WoD, and instead of telling Draenor's story in-game Blizzard had to tell it from scratch in Chronicle, while WoD questing is just some flashy action without profound lore foundations. These are just my personal tastes, and I'm happy for people who can enjoy Draenor quests, and I don't hate Dave personally. Also just how many people get one job in their life and stay there forever? I think it's a pretty small number. 12 years is a huge timespan, it's okay for people to get tired of one job and/or want to do something else etc.
Ya'll saying this confirms how is Blizz dying... have you ever had a job? This is what happens in real life. Honestly, it's quite impressive how many OGs are still in the company after such a long time. And, I mean... the guy gets to switch things up and work on something new and to rest a little bit... and we get some new fresh blood. I don't see this as a bad thing at all.
