It's not every day I become legitimately irate over a change Blizzard makes, but that one about the WoD Crafted gear not being obtainable... so very irate.
Instead of making them unobtainable, blizzard could simply remove the upgrade system from WoD, atleast after level 3 so we could get the tmog. That's a lot of work out there (for all kind of armor type/weapons) to do within 10 days. If they want to remove them then should have informed us months prior.
I severely doubt Blizzard will do anything about this to make them obtainable in the future. Blizzard dump and ignores old content the second something new releases. Honestly not too worried though WoD was stain on the history of WoW less things to remind us of it the better.
So glad I've already done the upgraded WoD transmog pieces.
I'd much rather a Blue confirmation than someones speculations.
The upgraded two-handed axe is still one of the best normal-looking weapons in the game, in my opinion. The hammer too. Would be very sad and odd for these to be deliberately made unobtainable. I expect there's a workaround planned.
I'm not a wiz on TSM, but the price string in the TSM beginners guide seem somewhere between worthless and misleading for trading pets. It doesn't take into account price differentials based on level. So if you're selling a level 25 pet the price will be calculated from the dirt cheap level 1 pets. This has been a known issue with TSM for a while, might be worth creating a different string for pets.
The only way you're going to craft all those transmogs before pre-patch is if you start now, get all your garrison profession buildings laboring away furiously, and channel your inner wod dungeon boomkin bot.. farming Iron Docks 24/7 for Primal Spirits.
For anyone looking to cash in on WoD upgraded items, be very careful about how you setup your TSM sales for it as I don't think it has any way to tell them apart anymore even on live.
yikes... been skipping those items on my ah-searches for tmog.... since i can always craft it myself, well... seems i have a new project now, thanks for the heads up
All Blizz has to do is to change this from BOE to BOP. Than ppl can still craft the armor they want for mog, but they can't be used to upgrade with relics and sell, which is seems they want to avoid. Instead, Blizz just decides to remove them and screw everybody. Sometimes I think the devs just don't think things through very well.
I suspect that upgraded WoD items need something more than simple fix. Removing them is a short time solution, and proper fix will be implemented later.
