What about the gargoyle? Also why does just about every ability need to be on the GCD.
Joining the other posters in the demand to1) bring Garg back as baseline, it's our iconic ability and I was really excited about this specific ability being included into DK unpruning. 2) take it off the GCDJust these two things. The rest is amazing so far.As a side note, I have no interest in engaging in the minmaxer debates of muh mechanic/muh opener. I get it, some people play for pressing buttons and doing numbers only, but there are many more who do care about muh flavor and the fantasy of a class/spec. Im proud to count myself among those.
Vocal minority strikes again.
Everyone claiming to "know how the spec works" you are aware that with this change you could make apoc eventually a 15-10-5 second CD with necromancer's bargain + all the other systems in place that reduce apoc cooldown? Please do explain to me how having your petkick tied to a 1 min CD would be better than a 10 second one? Also there's the fact that you could use the conduit that incrases the DT duration by max 15 seconds and get a permanent DT, apoc ghouls, and dont even get me started on the legendary that gives you and your pet 20% dmg and haste for 15 seconds every time you apoc/DT. Best change Unholy has had in a while with merging the 2 cooldowns and it got reverted due to illiterate crybabies :D. But hey, at least you can petkick whenever you want now.
Bake Gargoyle into Apocalypse, Buff Runic Corruption, make the Ghouls from Army and Apocalypse spawn instant ohh and finally make it a proper CD with like 5 mins or so, take DarkT off the GcD and make Wraith Walk Baseline on all DK speccs, Optional make bursting festering Wounds give u a small stacking buff to Mastery, Bam fixed specc and Classs fantasy.
Off GCD, readd default Gargoyle, also off GCD. Perfection
AAA Okay we're sorry Blizz, we'll stop complaining. Just revert the changes. We understand you can delete our fun at any point, please just give us back gargoyleI'll eat all my GCDs just don't hurt me
I am sad to see this go. It made army of the damned worth taking and gave lvl 50 talents some options. With unholy pact now at lvl 45, there are options there for different situations. Infected claw, bursting sores, and pestilence might be a good choice in some situations with some tuning. But, with DT and Apoc merged, army of the damned, unholy pact, and the conduit further reducing Apoc's cooldown, you had a build with solid aoe and ST readily available. You could still make choices in M+ on when to use Apoc and proc unholy pact, but you wouldn't be horribly punished if things went wrong and you hit it at the wrong time because you would have it back in 15 - 20 seconds. Less with improved haste and lucky SD procs. As for the "dumbing down" argument...the spec isn't terribly difficult either way. I see this as hyperbolic nonsense. The only good argument made for reverting the change is the pvp one...but that could have been fixed in other ways (maybe a pvp talent that did the same thing as DT roughly).
MM juicy GCD's I cant wait to wait for them all
and the frost obli? why nerf? and sub rogue? why r u nerf frost obli and dont sub rogue?
Awww nuts, and I was so excited for their improvement to the spec. Whelp, guess that's a gutterball.
Good job, Blizzard!DT off GCD please.
