Dear Samadan,I follow you actively on Youtube and I find that your content is incredible, the way you teach us with each profession is unique. Thanks for your precious information! When will you be partnering with Blizzard? :)
Warbinders Ink are used for crafting WoD tomes which sell for 1000% profit.
As soon as my realm got combined, auction house prices tanked. I expected that to happen but it's still disappointing.
I'm really at a loss of what is the best way to earn gold really. There's so many options that I'm kind of overloaded. Anyone got any particularly recommended methods?I don't think I'm going to make the brutosaur in time but I want to increase my gold income anyway.
If you really want to increase your gold making than you have start crafting (by buying materials) and flipping. Those will generate the most gold income because you can do it way more than anything else. However, BfA is coming to an end so maybe wait till SL comes out, but it's a good moment to buy some stuff because it's cheaper. Check the gold making guide from the Gold Dipper's website. Can come in handy.
With the recent realm merge, the 30 slot bag market have completely crashed for me.
Diversifying is the key, I tend to stick my hands into just about every AHable thing I can. I sell crafted transmogs of everything. I sell every enchant, and I'm very active in Spirits of Harmony (which can make you serious gold). I also pick up the WoD garrison auction parts when they're cheap. People will pay 5-30k gold for completed ones pretty quickly. I ended up with over 250k gold on a level 6 toon on a server after a few months just for fun. 30 slot bags probably wont make you much money in the long run. I have 2500 crafted for when Shadowlands hits, but I've been "storing" them on the AH for now, and I and usually sell about 10 a week. I usually post them for about 300g, but there are always a few hundred listed by others for 75g. I'm not sure why people buy mine, but I'm not going to argue. Once Shadowlands hits, there maybe a bit of a bump in price, so I'd save them for a couple months. Also, more alts, more gold. I have 10 Sky Golem crafters that have been making Golems for the past 4 months. Again, wait until Shadowlands, and there should be a decent price bump.
Spot on with realm mergers - that was the curveball in my plan as I didn't expect the mergers and the market price drop. Sigh. But since I'm not chasing the bruto anyway, it's just an annoyance as I figure out the next right path for me to make gold - (and it's not relic shuffle, that looks like an outrageous time sink).
The Brutosaur is the single most disruptive item to ever be added to game. They should have reasonably priced it from the get go, and offered a non-ah vendor and mog only version for even less. instead they decided to try to make a massive gold sink to reduce the horded gold on servers which only served to generate a toxic & uncooperative environment that destroyed small to medium guilds, and completely unbalanced the games economy. Now with the end of BfA they have made the gut wretch decision to remove the mount in an attempt to fix what they broke. But, all its serving to do is make people scramble to earn the gold for it making the AH & wow token unstable. Worse of all when the Brutosaur mount times out every one who couldn't buy it will have all that gold left over meaning their attempt at a massive gold sink to reduce in game horded gold will have had the opposite effect. It would be much smarter to leave the mount available, and alternately offer a 500k gold vendor and mog only recolor. Getting the mog only version will satisfy many of the people who just want a Brutosaur to ride on, and the long boy will retain its original intent slowly sinking gold over time.
