Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer is one of the few buffs which cannot be dispelled. Terrible example for the topic of this article.Shame on Arlaeus for believing he’s important enough to target. Also a great example of why you pop dummy buffs to protect things like songflower.
Blizzard should just make Griefing a bannable offense. And any character used for the purpose of just dispelling enemy buffs Is Definitely Griefer no question asked.Such character doesn't gain anything at all. There is no honor, no kill count, no progress towards anything. The sole purpose is to hurt the other side... What does that say about such individual (poor excuse of human being) is another thing I won't further comment upon.So do you want to kill others? Do so! Do you want to have 40man raid that holds some ground, be it entrance to raid? Annoying but that's your right on pvp server. That way you can kill, dispells and fight to your heart content even if lot of people won't consider this to be PvP by any means. Still they're gaining honor, kills and so on.But being an idiot and just wait in ghost till someone comes around, to resurrect and try dispell their buffs? That's just pure griefing and should be banned.

Excessive griefing of any player isn’t a good thing and should eventually result in a ban. But there are several points that are quite concerning:First of all, why can someone get 6 months of ban without even a warning or an investigation of the whole affair (is it the 1st offence, …)? Imagine just playing the game, not even knowing you did something wrong, and suddenly you lose 6 months of payed sub. If that is official blizzard policy, they need a good legal department to deal with the compensation demands. And what I cannot accept is that “streamers” are a protected species. They pay as much as anyone else who plays the game, they may even make some decent money with what they do, but they demand more rights than anyone else? “Stream sniping” is bad, but when a normal player gets griefed it is less so? Either tread everyone equally or charge them extra. There is no justification to support some wannabes with an overlarge ego just because they put their stuff on twitch or youtube. If that makes you invincible I’m going to start uploading my stuff and tell everyone I’m the greatest player on the planet. Seriously: That streaming hype is getting worse than the bad old griefing problem.
two thoughts.1. Streamerboy is a whiny git, and should transfer to a PvE server, ASAP. 2. Trigger-happy GM needs to be fired or moved to some non-customer-interacting role.
