Better off just using Cursebreaker.
Yeah never want to install anything overwolf creates. Its hot garbage.
Has overwolf gotten any better? Used it maybe a year ago and it was riddled with issues and crashes for me.
I hate Overwolf, but I hate the Twitch app too. It looks like it'll be about the same thing. Open the WoW Addon app, update, close it and then close Overwolf so it's not devouring my background resources.I'm having a hard time getting upset about this. It's just a meh thing I'd do once a week.
Have they given a time frame for when this is happening? I can't see it anywhere 🙄
I am confused. Are they going to charge people money to use mods? Like, allow mods to require you to be a subscriber to even use said mods? Because if so, that is...terrible.As it stands, making the update all function a premium option again after having used it for so long is already making me look at other mod management solutions.
We need a date when this is happening. I hope we get one soon. Thanks WoWhead letting us know about this even if i am not a fan of changing to the new App i just hope it doesnt delete my Profiles.
Someone please just write an independent desktop application to keep these folders synced with the web releases and avoid all this overwolf/twitch nonsense.PLEASE
Welp. My question's answered.Long as I can still manually download directly from curseforge and do it all by hand, like always, I'm good. Never did understand why people trusted programs to install things on their computer for them in the first place.
This is overwolf. Happened 2 days ago.https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwolf/comments/hckxw6/browser_popup_ads?sort=top
