So the main reason why I started making this setup guide for crafters is because there we're a lot of questions about 'what profs work the best with each other' or 'what race or class should I use for Alchemy?' To give you a answer, do what you think is best for you. However, that isn't always the answer people are looking for. Now lately I have been thinking to change my crafters setup in a way I will get the most efficiency out of it. So who shares the same mats or what profession benefits the most out of the other and minimum needed characters. Pure efficient and simplicity.

If you are a new player and you are beginning to build your crafting setup or you already have a setup and want a change, this is the moment before Shadowlands comes out. But if you already have a setup and your happy, keep it that way, don't change because I think this setup is better. Make it as YOU want it, this setup I made pure for efficiency, nothing more. You will also see some optional suggestions, also here you don't have to pick those. Can they give you a small benefit? Yes! But even without you will still get that efficiency.

Keep in mind!!! If you have some rare, hard-to-get or unobtainable recipe's and you remove your profession, you won't get them back. I hope this will give you a better inside on how to setup your crafters.

Hello everybody! So yesterday the time had come. I bought my Brutosaur mount. For every players who decided to collect the 5 million golds I want to write down my personal journey. Maybe you will find some of my experiences useful.

I'm on a low pop EU realm and in April one piece of Zin cost about 35 golds. So that time it was profitable. I farmed Zin for weeks. It took about 2,5 hours to farm 1k Zin in Nazjatar and I was able to sell it for 35k golds quickly.

Then I received an invitation to a farming community. I saw people are farming Anchor Weed. What? But why? I knew its a rare BFA herb but had no idea how are they doing it. They invited me to a raid and I was surprised. It was... very effective. In a good raid I was (and now too) able to gather 150-200 pieces of Anchor Weeds per hour!

So this is my current farming routine.

Weekdays - 3 hours of Anchor farm / 1 hour Honeyback Hive jellies / 1 hour anything else (cata herbs, or other legacy ores)

Weekends - As much Anchor farm as much I can do. People are raiding at the weekend so Anchor Weed is hot to sell.

Milling:
Dreamleaf ◦ Make sure to open all nightmare pods for additional Roseate Pigment and you are able to Trade Roseate Pigment into the Ink Trader for old world ink to reduce the cost.
Winterskiss ◦ You will receive a lot of Ultramarine pigment as well as Crimson and Viridecent. This is something to bare in mind as crafting the Ultramarine could be a waste of time but the Crimson / Viridecent are definitely a must to craft.
Zin'anthid ◦ This is by far the easiest flip for gold and that is buy buying out Zin'anthid and milling it for Maroon pigment which then you craft into Ink's which then it is wiser to use the inks to craft other Maroon ink crafts for a reduced cost. Note: Don't flood the Ah with too much of these because you'll drive the price down and not get that return on that investment.

Got the Bruto today, and here is how I did it... by u/RaziarEdge
Like many of you here, I found out that the Bruto would be retired when Shadowlands prepatch comes out. I have played since BC, on and off like many others, and I actually took about a year break from BFA. Hearing that the Bruto would be retired got me back into the game again. I knew I had a lot of work, and only had 100k to start with.

On March 1st, I decided to commit myself to a high population server where I had my Alliance team of 5 level 120 alts (and another 7 between 60 and 110).

Phase 1: Farming Herbs and Ores (100k to 250k, Late Feb 2020)

I made a decent amount doing that and then listing them on the AH. I had 2 preferred routes: one in Voldun and one in Stormsong adding in Honey Jelly (alliance only). It required very little time on the AH, and things sold well without needing to manage anything. However, I got bored farming all of the time and decided to invest time learning the AH.

Phase 2: Early Flipping (250k to 600k, March 2020)

They say the first half million is the hardest and it is. Part of it is because I was investing into leveling my professions so profits were very slim. I felt so discouraged at some points that I broke down and purchased a few tokens just to make up my gold to match my goals. I don't regret spending the gold.

But during this time I focused heavily in sniping and flipping ores. Since I was already familiar with the price fluctuations over the past previous weeks while farming and listing (plus studing trends on theunderminejournal.com) I felt confident that it would be easy for me to play the Monelite and Storm Silver stock market game.

It worked well, but it was a lot of work. I was able to buy up cheap ores on Thursday and Friday and list them higher on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. At this point I only really had enough capital to buy up a few thousand here and there, so it wasn't like I was able or willing to completely reset the market.

I made a lot of mistakes here too. With Covid, the prices of ores dropped and I lost a lot that I had earned because I over committed and did not anticipate a depression in the market. My second mistake was that I was focused on a SINGLE market and it hurt a lot more than it could affect me right now.

Phase 3: Basic Crafting (600k to 2 million, Late March 2020)

The 3 main professions that I focused on were Tailor, Alchemy and Enchanting. I spent a lot in materials for all 3 but the most expensive for me was Enchanting to level.

For enchanting, I bought almost all of the mats with the focus on getting Tools of the Trade ASAP. Once I got that and my Rank 3 recipes I started recovering from my investment. I mostly focused on BFA weapon enchants and rings.

With Alchemy I also focused on doing the minimum materials to get to 150 and get tools of the trade before I did any major crafting. I had the advantage of being able to farm my own herbs, so I did that in order to save gold. A lot of time was required for this, but was able to it relatively cheaply. Again waited until I could get Rank 3 recipes before major crafts. While I tried several of the other potions, the majority of my income came from Greater Flasks.

Tailor was easy with most of my efforts in the beginning focused only on Deep Sea Bags. Not only did it level up my Tailor, but has become a major income source for me in my goal for the Bruto.

I did other professions as well, but mostly lower level consumables like Monelite Hardened Stirrups with Blacksmith, and bracer shuffle on my tailor and leatherworker.

NOTE: at end of this phase, there was a huge surge in players because of Covid quarantine, and that really affected sales, etc.

Phase 4: Advanced Crafting (2 to 5 million, April to Now)

I have at least one of every profession now leveled to 175, but I also started adding other alts with those same professions. 3 Alchemists mostly for the Anchor Transmute (although a second Silas is nice too). 4 Engineers for the daily Jards Energy, and got my Blingbot 7000 for good karma.

Only very recently did I get into Inscription in BFA. I had focused on Glyphs but they were much too difficult to manage. I didn't really understand that the real money was from the trinkets and the War Scrolls until much later. Now with the Rep bonus the Contracts are also good income source.

I was also able to do some major flips at this point, including a few days ago resetting the Anchor Weed from 40g to 90g. At least 3 times I have also reset the Deep Sea Satin market.

Tips:

All in all, it was a lot of work, but it is doable to make the 5 million on a high population server. The key is that you have to watch the AH. If you don't post multiple times during the day, don't expect sales. And with a high population server if you aren't watching your listings to see if you are on top, then you can be knocked off in a few minutes. I have gone back and forth with other goblins posting new stacks every 30 seconds or so until one of us gave up (usually them) -- being stubborn does reward you. However, I focused on posting small stacks. Flasks in 2s, Deep Sea Bags in 4s, Scrolls in 10s, Enchants in 2s... I only posted what I thought someone might want to buy personally. Yes this meant that I missed out on some of the bigger purchases, but I was more concerned about getting the first sale on a consistent basis than trying to get one big payout. It worked for me, others disagreed with my strategy when I posted it earlier.

I hope that I encouraged some of you that it is possible for someone to come in with no previous goblin experience and still make the 5 million without buying tokens (OK, I bought 2 but then bought game time with gold so really only 1 token purchased). And I did it in just over 3 months starting from Feb 1st.

I can farm only during the weekends. Although, what has been working for me, is now mostly inscirption/enchanting. I am making quite nice money from that, but I have lost all hope of buying the longboi. I will just not make it. I have 1 million gold now. I got 2.5M in just about 2-3 months, then I borrowed 2.5M from a friend just to be sure I would get it. Now I'm farming to pay him up, but on a much healthier rate. 1 - it's a brutosaur, an awesome mount - the reason I want it.
2 - it's a valuable RP item for people who like to RP, and this is an RPG after all.
3 - it's a very convenient mount because of the AH.
4 - it's an achievement... and I'm not talking about the actual feat of strength achievement.

Appreciate any help.Kommentar von akibaboyI don't say this as a judgment against how anyone else spends their personal time, but when I look at these guides and see that at the very best people are making the equivalent of $15 every 4-8 hours... that really puts the value of the token in perspective for me. That's somewhere in the ballpark of 400-500 hours I'd be able to put towards 1) other things I actually enjoy in WoW, or 2) other games I enjoy.

So... you should really only farm these out if you actually enjoy farming and playing markets. The mount can't possibly be worth it if you don't enjoy that kind of game play. I've had friends who completely burned out from similar things and never recovered - certain rep grinds, farming Vial of the Sands back in the day, ridiculous achievements... no matter how capable these guides make it seem for you, it's still a massive amount of work.Kommentar von raizencmaVery good guide ty
