I would gladly simp for the Winter Queen
No! Ye gotta keep fightin', champion!oh no .. Magni is still present? ..
So it was Muehzala after all who told Vol'jin to make Sylvanas warchief?
I love how Bwonsamdi's suddenly salty lol
Looks like the Horde recruitment of the Tidesage got mingled in somehow
Seeing all the alliance races get a little nod for something there, the new starting some maybe?Of course, Draenei are forgotten....
I think most of these texts are from when you kill ghosts that let out remnants of the past. Most of these texts are from moment in time. Sort of like the Undercity easter egg of hearing the cinematics involving Medivh and Arthas return.
If I'm reading it correctly, it looks as if Rezan intervened in Vol'jin's death, which is why Bwonsamdi couldn't claim him, and, when Vol'jin is resurrected, he will become the new Loa of Kings. This could explain why not every Zandalari Paladin lost their powers.
Interesting... I had not thought about it before, assuming Ardenweald was purely for Emerald Dream type of spirits. Of course, the various Loa are ALSO nature spirits, since they're semi-immortal animal spirits. I guess that means it's likely that a lot of the dead Loa follow the orders of The Winter Queen.EDIT: Yeah, I can confirm that the Loa are under the Winter Queen's jurisdiction, since Bwonsamdi mentions how Mueh'zala had been taking her Loa away. So apparently all Loa (excluding Ol' Bwon and probably Mueh'zala) pass through Ardenweald and have to go through some kind of test/trial to be reborn. We can assume that normal death doesn't faze them much, but corruption/consumption of their anima makes it far more difficult. That's why the characters were relatively chill with Hir'eek and Torga dying in Nazmir but are much more concerned with Rezan and Shad'ra, since the former was raised/corrupted into undeath unwillingly while Shad'ra had much of her power consumed by the mortal Yzma. It's also why the Drakkari Loa deaths are much more impactful than those of others- they had their power/anima drained away- the very thing they need to use to rebirth onto Azeroth.
Tarrargue. Hype is real.
I don't think this necessarily tells us that Rezan intervened in Vol'jin's death in the first instance. Consider the following;
Glad that Bwonsamdi didn't end up the villain (and actually looks to secretly have been a hero behind the scenes). I was always confident he wouldn't be but with blizzard I couldn't be 100% sure.
Answering to the last two comments by Shelldin and Blotter. Muehzala is on the side of the Jailer. The book that is supposed to be released contains the story of Nathanos being tasked to kill Bwonsamdi, which means the Jailer wants Bwonsamdi out of the picture. Hence by this dialogue data mine it means the Jailer has offered Muehzala a top loa seat in exchange for loyality. It is also reveled that in the game we will be going to rescue Bwonsamdi from some kind of a prison in a dungeon. So Nathanos may have succeeded in his mission. Voljins soul was touched 'by a spirit of valor' it was mentioned - Hence why we check with Odyn in the quest line. So its less likely Rezan. I dont think its any of us know or present in the current WoW universe. It probably is some special spirit from the Bastion zone - and likely knew Muehzala's whisper to Voljin.
This is going to be interesting.
