Not to be overly negative but sounds like hot garbage in the making with a devteam that has no idea how they should implement a game to mobile without completely ruining it.
They can convince me to play this game with two things : be playable with a Xbox\/Playstation controler, and if it's a buy to play game. Which it most likely will not. 95% sure it's gonna be some "free to play" which you need to pay 300 bucks per months if you want to play it like an actual video game.
I wonder if I will be able to play it on my kindle... my phone is too out dated and I want to see all the details.
I'd give them $5 to $10 so I don't get stuck behind a "free to play" scheme. Aside from that, it'll be fun to play while indisposed or something, but I can't see myself taking time away from PC gaming just to play this. It has a place and I hope this turns out well.

A mobile game will have 6 classes when the pc and flagship game will have 5... nice -.-"
All the hate for this game.... Im looking foward to being able to play a blizz game at work

Poor Wyatt.
I am surprised Wyatt "Dont you guys have phones?" Cheng survived his flogging I am sure he got after being destroyed at Blizzcon.
games on phones
As i thought, they dont even know what to do with Immortal rn, not because the idea was bad nor if its going to be a good game. Spoiler alert. It will be, people wanted to play immortal since they show it.\r\rProblem its, people was specting D4 last year, even with Blizzard saying "HEY we dont have anything about it stop it!"\r\rAnd the backlash that they got, actually seems it was harder in the Activision halls, i hope they can get it trhought, maybe a 5 dollar game with cash shop in terms of "stamina" "bigger backpack" "more action point" "customization" idk. \r\rOr a FTP but with tons of pay walls.

I am surprised Wyatt "Dont you guys have phones?" Cheng survived his flogging I am sure he got after being destroyed at Blizzcon. The flogging was undeserved for him to take. Should they have mentioned D4 after years of nothing new to announce? Probably. Does it warrant harassment because he only has so much say? No. You could tell when watching the presentation he was trying to make it sound exciting, knowing full well they were gonna get crap for it.The game sounds fun based on Blizzcon feedback, which only further asserts how unwarranted all of the harassment really was. It's not meant to even be a mainstream Diablo game. It's just something fun on the side to tide us over until D4.And the backlash that they got, actually seems it was harder in the Activision halls, i hope they can get it trhought, maybe a 5 dollar game with cash shop in terms of "stamina" "bigger backpack" "more action point" "customization" idk. Or a FTP but with tons of pay walls.Honestly, I'd pay $20 for it if it meant no MTs. The paywall on Mobile games can really drag the experience down. Maybe if they keep it purely cosmetic it might be okay, but I'd rather earn those items than pull out my credit card.

The Diablo: Immortal demo at BlizzCon included versions on iPhone and iPad;What about Android version? I hope there won't be a delay in release.
I'll probably get it, play on my phone while waiting for queues sometimes. I never focus solely on my phone to play games but if I have time to kill while I'm waiting for something, usually I can exit mobile games without much repercussion as soon as I'm done waiting for whatever. I haven't dropped any money on a mobile game either, unless you include me buying a chip so my phone has more storage. Honestly if they made it available to nintendo switch as well that'd be nice, bigger screen.
'While there's lots of speculation surrounding monetization in Diablo: Immortal, the team doesn't know how it will work.'\rOf course they know how monetization will work: the whole point of making a new game instead of bringing D3 to mobile (like they did on Switch) is to base it around a p2w model.\r\r'...how the mobile game will set itself apart from other games in the franchise.'\rLooks like it will not? Not in any meaningful way, except for being sub-par.\r\r'...the teams developing Diablo: Immortal and Diablo IV work in the same building.'\rLast time I heard, Immortal was being developed by a chinese studio. Does this mean Diablo IV is too?
If it still not anywhere near ready to release it does make me wonder why they talked about it in 2018.
the whole point of making a new game instead of bringing D3 to mobile (like they did on Switch)And how would controls work? 6 skills + movement + potion + TP + inventory management, using touch screen only, so you either see the scene and stay idle or see your fingers when performing an action, all of that during fierce battles and with timer (GRifts)? It's just impossible to port. Not without simplifying the game greatly, to the point that it is not D3 anymore. Therefore a new one, namely DI.
