Its when the effects start to compound that things get crazy fun. Hard to get an idea with little affixes yet.
The main game is nowhere near finished, but they are already talking about expansions. Classic Blizzard Activision
glad its more than attack and damge
Would be cool to try a demo of this asap haha but nonetheless hype is present :D
I want to test all out. I like when there's affixed tailored to certain skill/gameplay style makes so much better. Diversity is key.
It's intriguing that they're thinking of allowing people to keep things from season to season. It may well result in increasingly powerful characters, unless they limit it quite a bit.
I really hope blizz doesnt change up the stats again. Poor system design for D3
I really want to bring Blizzcon Demos home similar to Classic
Hopefully the Diablo 4 expansions will be better than the Diablo 3 Necromancer DLC.
The affixes look moderately similar to the Diablo 3 concept, which is fine - no need to reinvent the wheel on item design.
Microtransactions for mount appearances, perhaps?
dont really play D3 but ty for info
It would be really cool if the legendary affixes could change the skill so that it is suitable for gameplay style/ talent branches it doesn't belong to. This could make different builds much more versatile and unique. As an example, for Sorcerer(ess) skills they could change the element of the skill so that the single element specialized build isn't restricted to skills of that element ( it isn't even a new mechanic to implement, they already have a similar mechanic in many D3 Skill Runes). They could make Fire spells turn Frost, Frost turn Lightning, etc. For example:- Fireball launches a burst of concentrated cold that explodes on impact, dealing X-Y Cold damage and Chilling enemies in an area. (Fire -> Frost, an additional tool for Frost Sorcs).- Incinerate creates a ray of concentrated frost, dealing X Cold damage and Chilling the target every second. (Fire -> Frost, aka turning this spell into a Ray of Frost)- Blizzard creates a powerful rain of fire that deals X Fire damage over Y seconds (Frost -> Fire, an analogue for Fire Sorcs). - Frozen Orb launches a ball lightning that releases Charged Bolts and eventually explodes into a lightning burst. Deals Lightning Damage. (Frost -> Lightning, an analogue for Lightning Sorcs).- Arc Lightning releases a cone of cold, dealing Cold damage and chilling enemies, but no longer restores Mana (Lightning -> Frost, an analogue for Frost Sorcs).- Meteor falls without a delay and deals Lightning damage, but no longer burns the area ( Fire -> Lightning, an analogue of D3 Skill Rune).- Chain Lightning releases cursed flames that hit the target and jump to X nearby enemies, dealing Fire damage and additionally burning the targets for Y damage over Z seconds (Lightning -> Fire, an analogue for Fire Sorcs).
