There was no need for these nerfs at all...
Personally allowing 7 extra seconds on the ramp while allowing some classes to carry on up time... is hell of a nerf.
Cool, let's change Zaqul to break 1 tank strat and force 2nd tank only to change him again so people are gonna be back to cheesing it with brewmaster solo tank and using a random raid member to soak the link.
orgozoa is a he?
Shadow priests cant ramp insanity before pull now, also nerf :)
These are pretty big nerfs which will allow a lot more guilds to progress, which makes me wonder if we're getting an Azshara nerf soon in pref for 8.3 reveal as blizzcon and possible release.
On heroic difficulty Orgozoa moves down the ramp faster.12th September2:34 40% health2:49 Massive Incubator buff (indicating she's reached the bottom and is casting)26th September2:28 40% health2:37 Massive Incubator buffIt now takes her 9 seconds to transition down, previously it took 15. The 6 second difference meant we had to interrupt Orgozoa and kill a couple of our slower players who were still on the ramp.A cool change that was definitely needed and makes the fight more fun for everyone. /sEdit to add a few more times (I don't see a specific event for "intermission starts" so my health based timing might be slightly off, but the pattern is clear.8.2.0 time from 40% health until Massive Incubator: 17s, 19s, 20s, 19s8.2.5 time from 40% health until Massive Incubator: 12s, 9s, 13s, 10s
For groups without a Wind Rush Totem or Stampeding Roar on Mythic difficulty, some classes had a very tough time depending down the ramp in time before the Massive Incubator cast needed to be interrupted. Depending? Descending? =)
She, orgozoa is a she.
Orgozoa could use some actual nerfs, even if just minor. That being said, these speed nerfs on her do make sense for groups that don't have any kind of group speed ability.Mythic Eternal Palace is a tough raid tier that's pushed a lot of raiders away from the game, at least temporarily. This in conjunction with general BfA malaise and the release of Classic only makes the raid tier worse. The raid is tightly tuned for your typical mythic raiding guild. Only a vocal minority of more hardcore raiders are against nerfs. This is normal, though, since nerfs mean more guilds would clear, which would then make the personal achievements of hardcore raiders mean less. They don't want to give that up, even if it's good for the health of thousands of guilds out there. I'm not saying I want easy raids, but it sure would be nice if we had more natural progression.Regarding the requirement of mage (int), warrior (AP), priest (fort), as well as demon hunter and monk for increased damage debuffs, these are things that either need to be easier to obtain via other classes, or just make it so that the scrolls provide the straight 10% buff rather than 7%. Either that or just don't tune raids around it. Let it be a bonus to raid teams that can make it work.
