Nice. They also need to nerf all the bosses after Ashvane as well now that Hall of Fame is closed.
Nice. Now we only need about 40k from each dps instead of 42.5k for Ashvane!
Hopefully they mercy close the Alliance Hall of Fame within the next few weeks here so the dead servers can actually start/continue doing Mythic progression easier.
Might want to add:Thats 5% off P2 HP, 1.5% of max hp off 1st shield, 2.25% max hp off 2nd, and 3.375% off final shield, assuming you are 3 phasing like most who are progging would be.
Nice. Now 2 phase should be a walk in the park.
Should be much easier to 2 phase Ashvane now
Only 15 Alliance guilds have killed Azshara. This is ridiculous. Once your faction gets hall of fame, your faction should be allowed to cross server raid. There is literally no reason at all to make horde wait for alliance to catch up. Everyone go make a support ticket for Blizzard asking them to fix this mistake. If 3 million players all put in a ticket, they will change it just to stop the traffic from overloading their support teams in India. Go make a ticket folks, only takes a few minutes.
Zoatrid trinket might be good for pvp now
Even if you play your class well and are mechanically sound, Ashvane is still overtuned, especially for the 4th boss of a raid tier. As of this post on 9/11/2019, 714 guilds in the World have defeated her, and mythic Eternal Palace has been open for two months. This is compared to the 1,394 guilds that are 3/8M. A lot of these 4/8M and 3/8M guilds (and higher prog) aren't even raiding anymore. That gap is gigantic considering the amount of time that's passed. The progression is WAY non-linear. Raiders want to have a natural progression in each raid tier. Wall bosses are fine, but there's a delicate balance between a wall boss and one that just turns people off from the game. This comes down to the raid design team. It seems like whenever Blizzard isn't sure how to tune a boss that they overtune it.I enjoy the fight, but it's also incredibly frustrating since there's zero room for error. This is taking into consideration the odd comps groups are using to try and create more DPS, such as using the 3-tank, 3-healer strat to manage ripples and to create more room for DPS. Certain tank classes are much stronger at soaking ripples and suiciding at high stacks. Certain healers are much stronger at mitigating and managing the giant incoming spike damage from the ripple detonations. If you don't have these classes the fight becomes that much harder, or impossible for your average mythic raiding guild that doesn't have the luxury of geared alts, versatile alts, or just the inability to recruit class X or Y.If you can manage and run guild and raid team, and have a consistent roster of 20+ reliable people year after year, you should be able to clear mythic content on a somewhat casual schedule and structure, even if that means you have to go right up to the end of the tier's schedule. Of course, more hardcore raiding guilds don't want this since it means they aren't as exclusive in their accomplishments. They want to be on a pedestal. This isn't about the hardcore or even the semi-hardcore guilds. Rather, it's about the majority of mythic raiding guilds who just want to raid and keep going.I think this is part of the problem retail WoW has, especially in BfA. I look at my Bnet friends list right now, and 80-90% of the people playing WoW are playing Classic. Serious raiders have left retail. The recruitment forums are full of people right now who were in 6/8M, 5/8M, 4/8M, and 3/8M guilds that fell apart and/or called it quits. One of the reasons they're doing that is because they're sick of mythic raids. Some of them want more accessible raids where they can clear them in a more game-like, fantasy atmosphere of slower progression relating to things other than boss difficulty. Retail raids, specifically mythic raids, are more about min-maxing, perfect play by all 20 people, logs, juggling lots of mechanics, wiping hundreds of times, the list goes on. There comes a point where the game doesn't feel like a game anymore. Classic truly is more of a real "game." I decided not to play Classic since I played Vanilla when it was live and raided the content, but I still understand why it's a superior game to retail in several ways.I'm not saying I want mythic raids to be easy, but they also doesn't need to be a giant pain where people are banging their head against a wall. It happens every single raid tier nowadays with multiple bosses per tier. It just keeps killing guilds and turning people away from WoW. People who are reliable, good raiders, too. It's just not worth it anymore to a lot of people. Unfortunately, BfA in combination with the new option of playing Classic now, has just exasperated this problem. My job as a guild master and raid leader is more difficult now than it has ever been due to this perfect storm.
