This panel will inspire me to pay more attention to Waycrest manor's music. I knew that the witches seemed to spawn out of thin air but didn't realize they were tied to organs in the walls. I didn't even notice the organs!
Sound is essential in conveying emotion to what we see. I honestly can't play without sound, it feels so much more immersive.
Always get a kick out of screenshots of a sound panel. Only 20ish vs 100ish for more visual panels :)
Sound is very important. With sound I could hear my big blizzard bear :)
While Waycrest may have been most advanced sound work they've done for any dungeon, they did a fantastic job with it. Infact the whole zone was amazing.
I had no idea the Drustvar sound design was so complex and just kept layering land layering. And that thing with the sound coming from the little hangy things is very sneaky. Who knew that the ambiance was coming from little bits in the scenery?
I love the sound and music in WoW. Also, Abby Lewis was creepy.
I didn't know the secret about the organ pipes :O
"There may still be a musical secret in Waycrest Manor..."It didn't take long for the community to discover this one, that's for sure!
The music is one of the most highly underrated parts of the game in my opinion. If you play the game with your music turned off or not looped, you are making a big mistake and missing out on some serious content. Blizzard invests a lot time and attention into setting the right mood music with each location in Azeroth and it really shows if you take time to soak in the musical compositions combined with the games atmosphere.
Blizzard always been top when it came to in-game music. Music and Cinematics, I think they rock on these.
I play muted with Youtube videos playing on the side. So... I appreciate the effort they put into it. XD
i love Stormsong music :) just be realistic ofc we all comment for bear :D we want opportunity :D
I really like to learn allthis behidn the scnees stuff, how things are done.absoutely fasczinating :)
Unmuted background music since legion, and I gotta say, its a better experience for the game, you shoul try it out too!
It's interesting to hear them talk about this, how in depth the design is, how much effort goes into it. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere the sound creates in the game, but I also usually play with sound and music off so that I can play more efficiently, or so I can watch videos while I play. This panel kind of makes me want to turn the sounds back on just to pay more attention to these people's work.
cool
The sound design in BfA is top notch!
