rip azerite pieces
Mythic expeditions drop gear? Huh. Okay I haven't been keeping up with everything (and boy I had to do out of WoW research to figure out this warfront thing, and I was still getting it wrong even up to today), but yeah first I heard of it. Guess I need to read more outside of game?
Really unfortunate. The only way we can get azerite pieces for M+ is in this chest...and no one in my entire guild got an azerite piece this week. Gonna be rockin' 340s for a few months at this rate. (Yes, we can raid; yes, we can do WBs; no that loot's not guaranteed and very few received anything from them). My opinion is that the cache should give one azerite piece every week (still only a 33% chance it's for the slot you want and that it's not a duplicate of what you already had for traits), plus a chance at a second random piece from the loot tables.
I'm probably one of few people who is totally OK with this.
This is yet another in a long list of examples of Blizzard's incompetence when it comes to communicating foundational systems features for each expansion. As other posters have said, they could have corrected the misperceptions about the caches anytime in the last 5 months but they chose to leave it to a CM to handle at the last minute once the caches are already being claimed. On top of this, high level Azerite armor is locked behind a massive RNG wall... good luck getting anything reliable over 340 ilevel when it's competing with literally the entire loot table for all the Mythic dungeons. The artifact system was superior, you had a distinct sense of progress towards a static trait tree, instead of this random system. I think they should put Azerite traits on "traitstones" or something we can earn points towards, so you can, for example, clone the traits from a desired piece and put them on your current piece.
Us players can take a lot of crap from blizzard, but their awful communication in the last few years will be the end of them.
Oh come on... So we only have Azerite armor... It means 99% of the time useless cause wrong / bad trait, and we already have the same item, because Azerite armors are always shoulders, head or chest. That's just sad :(.And the true question is : WHY wait the last second to tell players Mythic+ chest will not give more than one item, they just let players hope for nothing, instead of telling them the truth months ago, when someone discovered it on Beta.Blizzard, you are used to be better on communication, please.
Wait.... How many pieces of gear did the people that opened the chest super early last week get? (The gear that was subsequently removed, because ”bug”)
Warlocks have 6 head items, 6 chest, 6 shoulder and 77 other items. Assuming equal odds for azerite vs other gear, you have a:- 6.32% chance to get a particular azerite slot (16 weeks average to get all 3 azerite slots from m+).- 18.95% chance to get any azerite item (one every 5 weeks average).- 1.05% chance to get a specific piece with the traits you want (95 weeks average before you get it)Good job Blizzard...
The item level table doesn't appear to be correct. I just looted a 350 non-azerite item from the mythic 2 weekly chest, and it's even listed as warforged, so I'm guessing the base ilvl would be 345.
This table seems inaccurate. My M2 chest contained a ring that Warforged up to 350, instead of having a base of 355 as the chart indicates. My M3 chest had a 340 piece of azerite armor, which is accurate according to the chart, I just wanted to bring it up because it was disappointing as hell.EDIT: Just saw the comment above mine having the same problem. Very disappointing.
I understand why only one instead of three, but could of let us know beforehand, many news sites and videos from the likes of Bellular have been saying this all week :)
To the 2 people above about their M2+ weekly chest 350 Warforged rings..... Currently the Warforging is bugged from weekly caches and not correctly applying itself in many cases. Im speaking with blizzard now regarding a M10+ weekly chest item coming out at 380. 380 is the BASE item level, so it's clear the Warforging can come out bugged from the weekly cache. Im assuming eventually blizzard will help me resolve this, but working with customer service right now is not easy, as wait times are anywhere from 24-48 hours PER response......This is beyond frustrating at the moment!
Silly, I know...but I can't find this information...where is the weekly chest located for a hunter. I did mystic 5 and am suppose to get a chest but don't know where to pick it up!
