If the person didnt use any cheat codes and exploited a Quest or WQ from blizzards original programming then its blizzards fault. To punish any player based off a blizz frack up is BULL#$%^! I would fight it if anyone gets banned or lose there reputation from any faction."NOPE I DID NOT USE THIS EXPLOIT OR EVEN KNEW IT EXISTED UNTIL I READ THIS". I do not consider any cheating if no add ons, cheat codes and other outside sources were used to make that exploit occur. Everything was from the original programming then no I will never consider that cheating only smart.Im a huge Hearthstone player and 40% of my games I play against a cheater using cheat codes and blizz has never done crap about that for years. Why make a huge issue from this when no outside source interfered?Very lame on the threatening punishments.Shouldve listend to your beta testers once again thats your own fault.
Blaming Blizzard for your choosing to do something wrong because it was there is like blaming a bank that you decided to rob because they chose to have money inside.
It seems to me that these exploitable bugs are becoming far to common to be accidental... It seems there's been a high profile and highly sanctionable exploit in the last two or three xpacs now. As for this one, someone had to intentionally change the code for the very basics of how a quest has worked since the beginning of the game. I have absolutely no proof what so ever, only a theory that Blizz is actually still trying to improve the game with intentional "bugs." But it makes sense as a behind the scenes tool to test the bug report feature as well as to test the honesty of the player base. It may have been a beta feature that they forgot to turn off when it went live, or it may have been a completely honest mistake. However I do believe that people that were exploiting it should have known full well that they were doing something unintentional in the game.
This is when blizzard is a complete ass. You do not punish (ban or whatever else they can do to punish players) players for utilizing whats in the game. Blizzard programmers made the error then they need to stfu and just fix the issue. To punish players makes me want to spit on someone. If anyone used a script or outside source program to utilize an exploit then thats something else. They need to punish the people that allowed this exploit to be live on wow servers and not the players.Totally disgusting how blizzard reacts and decides on issues sometimes. seriously just want to spit on someone...I despise uneducated corporate decisions.
