I get preferring to play Horde or Alliance, but to not play both sides is missing out on so much. Seems like this expansion is heating up pretty well for two differing and interesting storylines. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens on both paths.
I love Sylvanas more. She is my warchief.
I think they are setting up a twist. Everyone is getting all "Evil Sylvanas" and "Sylvanas the Lich Queen" and "Siege of Orgrimmar 2.0" etc. But what if, as I believe, Sylvanas has Intel unknown to us and is working things to prepare for what is to come? Vol'jin named her Warchief because of a vision from the Loa and isn't part of the Zandalar quests involving Loa and they did say she would have a major story arc in BfA. Seems to me that a twist is coming and when it does rather it be in 8.1 or 8.2 or whenever just remember I called it.
Greymane talks big for being someone who's so consistantly wrong. I'm thinking of Luke in The Last Jedi. "Amazing. Every word you just said is wrong."1) "Our king just routed your army!" - Uh... Genn, I don't know what battle you just saw, but you were literally running away until Jaina showed up in her sillyass flying ghost ship and deus ex machina'd her way to victory. Like, you lost, bro. Then the real muscle showed up and handed you the win. Jaina's always been OP, but it's been upped to silly propotions.2) "How dare you desecrate that throne." - Genn. Bubbeleh. What right do you have to talk about the fate of Lordaeron. Where were you in their darkest hour? After the end of the Second War, you were the first to turn your back on your allies and neighbors and break ranks of the old Alliance. You even went so far as to Trump it up and build that big ol' wall AND PUT YOUR OWN NAME ON IT to keep out the foreigners. And then when your northern neighbors needed help the most; when desperate refugees threw themselves at the wall bearing your name to try to escape a crushing wave of undeath, where were you? Did you let them in? Did you send aid? No? Did you sit by in your manor while your once closest ally died and consumed itself? Yeah, I thought so. So shut up. You don't get to be outraged about Lordaeron's fate.Yeesh. What a mess this all is. Jaina's arrival is patently ridiculous. Like, to a comically silly degree. It'd be better if she just teleported in, did her big ice spell, and then cast a giant barrage of fire spells to break the wall. I'd have bought that, no question. This ghost ship is out...rageous. And then this masterclass vamp-off. What a bunch of drama queens they all are. I've already addressed Genn. Anduin is such a wooby it's crazy. And Sylvanas's mustache just keeps getting twirlier and twirlier. Like, Snidely Whiplash and Boris Badanaov are looking at her and going "Now, come on." I just... I just can't take this seriously how hyperbolic the writing and scenarios have gotten in this expansion, and it hasn't even launched yet.
Apparently Jaina is some sort of Mage-God now...
<3 Jaina <3
The scenario as Alliance was fun and the cinematics were great. But a 19g reward for the whole thing was a slap in the face. One and done on Alliance, and soon to be one and done on Horde too.
And, once again, Horde players must ask themselves, "Are we the baddies?"
Sylvanas reflects some Horde players - she insulted everyone around then ran away, screaming. :P Jokes aside - cool cinematics. Banshee Queen is &*!@ed, Baine is angry/disappointed at her and the Horde is kinda falling apart. Meanwhile, Anduin grows some humongous balls and starts acting like the ruler. This will be good. *grabs popcorn*
