The Alliance will not allow the Shadowmoon orcs in their ranks at all! I'm telling you this beacause the only allied race the Alliance needs aside from void elves (to my chagrin), lightforged draenei, and dark iron dwarves is half-elves.
Mmm just to clear a few things up.The map is named Gorgrond and it's related to Gorgrond Orc. So it's definitely not Outland.Mag'har is a village that was established as a refugee camp for those who chose not to join the old Horde, and place where those Orcs sent their "weak" children to die due to Red Pox.so its definitely from alternate Draenor.Just saying, based on current story without any canon.
The thing about that armor set is that despite how easily it would be to see Thrall returning to Draenor to be with his family and learn with Drek'thar (because his old master Drek'thar is dead in his own timeline) unfortunately that armor scream Hellscream/Warsong and not Frostwolf like it'd be if my idea played out. On Nobbel's video I made this comment: "I believe Thrall went back to Draenor after he gave up Doomhammer. I think the story will go something like: Thrall is depressed about the elements turning their backs on him, he goes to Alterac Valley seeking guidance but his time's Drek'thar is dead, he gets more depressed and Aggra grabs him by the balls (necklace) and tells him to get over himself and just go see his family in Draenor. So he goes back and hangs out with his parents and Drek'thar and gets even closer to them, this time though he takes Aggra and his sons and introduces them. He may even take some of the Mag'har with him from our Nagrand and during this Eitrigg (or someone else) comes through with the news abouthe war and Saurfang/Undercity being captured.. Durotan over hears this, asks about Varok, finds out what an honorable orc he is and pledges the Frostwolves to the Horde to help his son's people against the spooty Alliance. Eitrigg acts as the go between between Sylvannus and the Frostwolves." To me it seems very plausible that that'd happen as Thrall has a bad habit of becoming despondent and we all know how much family means to him, and his parents were aghast that he didn't bring his mate with him during his last visit so he's likely bring her and the boys with him this time and have his whole family together. Durotan being the honor driven orc he is would feel obliged to offer his people's aid to the Horde after all they did for Draenor against the Iron Horde. Obviously Grommash realized how wrong Gul'dan was, but I'm sure he still has a bone to pick with Thrall for killing Garrosh despite the fact that he wasn't from their time so I can't really see them joining the Horde on this one, not too mention would he really pledge himself to Sylvannus who he doesn't know at all?I look forward to that day we get Taunka, I mean hell the flight path guy in alternate Nagrand at Riverside Post is a Taunka, there's a Taunka slave in Durotar chained up on the beach being turned into a pit fighter.. why not give us Taunka as an option, they officially are already part of the Horde and have been since before the Wrath Gate. I think we'd get them by returning to deal with what Bolvar is doing.
I can't believe how ridiculous people are. Saurfang becoming a traitor? Orcs joining the Alliance? Gosh. Is this the average alliance player? Then I'm happy I'm with the Horde.
Sigh... 'Allied race' does not equal 'Alliance race'. Nightborn/Highmountain Turen are ALLIED races for the HORDE. So there is nothing that says another orc race would suddenly become ALLIANCE. Otoh, would be cool to have some off-shoot of the orcs playing on the oher side.
If this set is what the Orcs get for their heritage armor, I just have to say this.Blizzard, please leave it how it looks now and don't censor it. Please. To be clear, while I have nothing against sexy for the sake of sexy, I don't want skimpy armor to play a "sexy" character, I want more revealing armor because it makes bloody sense. The Alliance can come up with whatever reason they want to show off their Draenei bods, but many races of the Horde have a very tribal culture and/or feel and are naturally complimented by armor that just doesn't cover much. That goes for both the Females AND the Males. There are so very, very few decent outfits like this and the few that we do have are more befitting of an Elf.The lack of DECENT loincloths and the like are one of the reasons I've never been happy with my Troll characters. I just can't get them to look right. They always look so flashy... just not barbaric enough for me.If they keep this and don't do something stupid like add a torso covering shirt to the female version, or some stupid looking shorts to both, it will think it will be a huge step in the right direction.
