I really don't see the point in this ... The whole concept of a video game is based on rewards ... Just see how many people do Trials of Style compared to this one :/
I'm only willing to take part in this "event", if we get a running competition: in high heels, carrying a torch and chased by a big dinosaur.
To me it feels like this event is unfinished or something. No quest, no achievements, no nothing. Why didn’t they just add a quest to kill a dinosaur or something.
Cool idea but they really need to schedule these when there's nothing else to do, not right in the middle of a Timewalking farm week or the like.
The Un'goro Crater has always been one of my favorite zones and my must quest area. The new events are just fun for the sake of fun. It is always nice to have new events happening.
First time I tried this, had a blast! Only got a short hour out of it, wish I tried it out earlier. Looking forward to next year already! :)Don't think additional rewards should be necessary. The buff is fun, and the event itself is social and interesting. It's pretty easy, except for the one-shot Tar dude which no PUG tank or raid seems to know how to handle (i.e. kill blobs and kite boss). Favorite boss is raptor dude with walls of its pack.
snorefest... no rewards? priorities... rewards vs no rewards... you do the math...
Horde prob enjoy this event
why is it that so many of these holiday and quest chain guides and rare solo guides are always done on a paladin?
I thought this was a pretty fun event last year. It got groups of people together to kill stuff. A bit monotonous, but seemed that most enjoyed themselves.
So are the mentioned buffs not active in instanced PvP (I.e. Battlegrounds, Arenas) or PvP in general (World PvP included)?
I've never even tried this, and I'm not planing on spending the little time I have to play on this..When selling how cool this event is to players, Blizzard lost me at "no long-term rewards".
