So no good news then? :/
So if a new character loot sephus, prydaz and multispec legendary, then better to start a new character?
Can we please get that PVP healer nerf tho?
This is why you're not supposed to hand out Legendaries like free candy in Halloween. It should've been only one Legendary for each 'stat': Stamina, Strength, Agility and Intellect, with some proc that increases your primary stat by X% for X seconds.
The posts on legendary stuff seem pretty promising. Nice to see the confirmation on slot targeting in particular for instance. Also, the spec-based pity timer is probably a good thing since it provides multiple pity timers and the first one or two legendaries are acquired relatively fast. This means that clever usage of loot specs can get rid of "bad" legendaries, especially the ones with more generic effects that can be gotten as any spec. At worst, especially for those who have gotten several "bad" legendaries for a spec they want to play, nothing really changes, though there is now an option to use offspec pity timers to get legendaries that might at least have decent stats for one's main spec.
Blizzard is punishing us by not hearing countless feedbacks about how much flawed this system actually is and for doing little-to-nothing to fix this huge game design problem that cripples a lot of people and is the reason for plenty of re-rolls based on frustration... And yes, If my performance and dedication are higher than other's, then I deserve more, it's called meritocracy.I deserved the legendary shoulder much more than the other DH as my performance was superior even with prydaz equipped. The other DH is the one who deserved the "Achor, the eternal bull#$%^" legendary as he did inferior than me, but this is the expansion of RNG, where dedicated players get punished for being good. The funny part is that blizzard's attempt to aid people with the RNG issue is applying even more RNG to the orange epic system that's doomed by the huge amount of RNG.Why would I want 50% leech when I am not playing as tanker? 50% Leech won't increase my damage by 50% and the reason for having healers on raids is to keep people alive by healing them..It's so easy to solve this problem they created when they ignored all the feedback from the beta and pre-patch either by letting us target a legendary of choice to be our next drop or let us target 2 unwanted legendaries to make them impossible to drop just like we can exclude 2 unwanted BGs from the queues.
I wonder when they will explain the Outlaw changes.
The only way these relinquished items can help targeting a specific legendary is, if you don't do ANYTHING besides farming the currency for the items.A truly great concept. And about fixing legendaries: Instead of buffing the bad ones, they rather nerf the good ones without compensation for the spec, as 7.1.5 showed (BM hunter PoV). And they managed to acknowledge that dps increasing legendaries wasn't that a good idea at the same time as adding more of them when they could've fixed the class issue without it (hello Der Mantel des Alphas).Especially salty because when frost mages raised a similar problem with fingers of frost, they don't get a new legendary but an actual fix. :(
Well, legendary item drops like it is now sucks, and it have to. Even when you can choose witch legendary you want, you still depend heavily on luck when it drops. (but still by 1000% better)How hard is made it to collect "fragments" of legendary item, soo you would need many small items and so they can have higger drop chance, or even 100% chance to drop from last boss. Then some superb npc would made from that fragments legendary item of your choosing, they can even make that bis items will cost more fragments than *!@#ty or even almost useless ones. Problem solved everyone is happy. Its always better to collect bit after bit than hoping every drop is this that one? nope, is that? nope, nope and nope :)
well.....my druid tank is gonna love the change (as she got tank trink, bracers, and belt) as she can hopefully target the balance moonfire legendary now.My warlock not so much as one of leg. i got on ehr is sephuz (i do enjoy it on her)My pally.....is facked :| sephuz and shield necklace screws her over for off spec legendary :(
I always hate seeing things like this. It wasn't getting much use in PvE (and when it was, that was almost always the wrong choice)If a talent is almost always the wrong choice, then why have it? Other than the fun of having people around you complaining you took the worst talent and it's killing dps or whatnot. Short story short, don't make bad talents, make equally good options.
