Sounds to me like they need a group that is structured, knows what they are doing and can work together to test the new 10mans and 5mans more efficiently then say pugs could. Hrm very interesting contest.

It's a shame that it's US only really, as most the best guilds are from Europe. I have about 9 friends myself that I play and raid with reguarly, I'd love to join with them however it seems to be unlikely.
People who complain about 'Wowhead' restricting the contests to US only are really stupid.
