That's better.
I have an original idea:How about a map with two bases, opposite one another.Dividing each bases two main entrances will be a chasm filled with water and a long bridge going across it. At the top of each base is a rampart where you can shoot at people crossing the bridge.Taking the water takes you through a series of tunnels which eventually takes you inside the enemy's base.Once inside, you follow a series of rooms and ramps until you get to a long series of downward sloping corridors that take you underground to the flag. From there you can go back up the ramps or take an elevator up to try and escape. You then cap the flag on the roof of your base.
Put pyrhanas into water :O
Warsong Gulch 2:Electric Boogaloo? I love the idea of a new BG but it's not a very new concept. It's not fair for me to judge, because I havn't played it yet, but it seems insipid to just remake the same game plan in another place and call it a new BG. Blizzard might be trying to make the LFBG system as diverse as the LFD system, or is it just me?

what you're forgetting is that this BG will be the new WSG; the old one is being blown up by Dethwin'.
While the raiders have been getting new dungeons and raids every few weeks, pvpers have had to live with the exact same battlegrounds since vanilla. If I had my way there would be dozens of capture the flag battlegrounds, dozens of different king of the hill battlegrounds, dozens of different castle siege battlegrounds etc.Imagine if there were only 6 dungeons in the entire game. Level 10, do wailing caverns. Level 20, do wailing caverns. Level 70, do wailing caverns. Level 80, do wailing caverns.I don't care if it's a straight up warsong gultch clone, just a change in scenery would be refreshing.
Haha imo they shouldov made it more industriallike fighting in a warehouse complex with differnt buildings and like an outpost built into the buildings on either sideinstead of an outside battleground again.eh just my 2c
Heh, Dragon-wing windmill = win
Sounds like thunderstorm shamans will be much appreciated in defence.
1) o hay water walking, path of frost, blink, elixir of water walking, ... that river sounds like a big obstacle, i'll definatly be taking the bridge rather then just cross the water at a quiet spot2) no los options whatsoever, how does that even allow any kind of serious/tactical play? do we really need another wsg wich basicly is just mindlessly crashing into eachother? i mean the idea of wsg is great, it has lots of potential, but it has some serious flaws. from what i see here they don't do anything to solve those flaws and make a better wsg v2.03) guess we already have to be happy there are no vehicles. here is to hoping that the wotlk bg won't be part of the rated bg's
We're in twin peaks here.
This isn't very original at all, but, I don't mind WSG, so I'm okay with this. I'm very ahppy there doesn't seem to be any vehicles in this BG, not really a fan of vehicle combat.
