Farmville and other similar games are dumb. These are like tamagotchi, no tought or challenge involved. I wonder why people play them.

Mildly funny... but not really. I do hate farmville though.
if I could play wow on facebook I would think about geting one :p
Honestly, I play Farmville. Also, I raid 25s/10s on my mage in ICC. It's a way to unwind.I also know plenty of other people who play MMOs & play Zynga games. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive. They can live in harmony! Also, I would pay to see someone successfully play Farmville on a 10yr old computer. It is one laggy mo'fo' even on our brand spankin' new desktop. :[
I play all kinds of games... MMO, console, browser, cards, dice, whatever. The possible advantages to browser based entertainment is that you can play from virtually anywhere. I don't use real money ever. Just play the stupid side game when you can't be at your PC playing WoW. And most importantly... quit whining about it. Nice report and the video was funny. Zynga should not have come anywhere near that many votes btw.
that's facebook users for ya, all the ones that don't play WoW or have a console and stay all day in the computer play it, and FYI, the bust their asses playing so they c an show off they're virtual non-existing farm to their friends...and they criticize us...
And you thought WoW was to much farming? Farmville is a farming game with the them of farming. But anyway to anwser his question if Blizzard, Bio Ware, and VALVe mad a Farmville game yeah i would be kinda %^&*ed. a Runescape-esq game? Eh merely disappointed, Runescape while still quite lame i can still at very least consider a game. Zynga is more like an interactive screen saver, well except poker which is like the new solitaire for people with friends. Farmville is so boreing that i used to do it at work and after a about 5 days work was more fun. Anyway grats to VALVe the world's slowest yet still best game Devs.
I only bother to play farmville because my girlfriend thinks that all the buyable sh*t is cool and wants me to help build her stupid farm.As for Blizz going for the microtransaction method of earning, I'm okay with it for as long as it sells stuff for cosmetic purposes only with no effect on gameplay (like buyable pets that give you a unique buff). What #$%^es me however, is the fact that it is an easy way to get some of the achievements (especially for the mounts and non combat pets).
this guy has a girlfriend
what is this i don't even
hell no facebook blows compared to blizzard games. I do agree with blizzard making it microtransaction... with faction changes name and server transfers..
