I know,
WoW.com
caught this a little while ago, but I couldn't help it. I'm sure there's many other YouTube connoisseurs out there who have come to love and appreciate the hilarious Warcraft
machinima videos of Mike Spiff Booth
(aka
spiffworld
), but I wanted to draw attention to his latest video release!
What better machinima could exist than one combining two of the most evil and sinister villains in recent gaming history, our beloved (yeah, right)
Lich King
and
Portal
's
GLaDOS
!
More info after the break!
Spiffworld has also made an alternate version of the video, using the release of Still Alive featuring vocals by
Jonathan Coulton
, the clever fellow responsible for composing this now well-known and loved peek into the mind of an evil, twisted robot. Fans of other Spiffworld releases can have a good laugh at the reference to another of his videos,
I Feel Fantastic
, near the end of this video.
For those curious, both versions of the song can be found on
The Orange Box Original Soundtrack
which can be purchased online from the
Valve Store
or as MP3 from
Amazon
. It's also included with the fast-paced rhythm game
Audiosurf
.
Spiffworld has many other older but still quite hilarious World of Warcraft machinima videos set to the works of Jonathan Coulton and other comedic musicians, such as
Paul and Storm
. A few of my own personal favorites include:
re: Your Brains
(Ok, this is just my favourite video of all-time, really. I
love
this song.)
