New Site Feature: Demon Hunter Armor Variations
Demon Hunters are known by their blindfolds and tattoos. As we covered a few weeks ago, some of the armor in Legion that hid their defining characteristics has been modified to highlight the blindfolds and tattoos.
Today we've added these different armor variations to Wowhead's modelviewer. When you choose Demon Hunter as the class in the
Legion Dressing Room
, and select Legion quest, Honor, or dungeon armor to equip, you'll see their alternate appearance. Swap the class back to see the default style for the helms and chests instead.
Here are some of the sets to get you started:

Kinndy Sparkshine Reference
Christie Golden's novel
Tides of War
cover the destruction of Theramore, which players experienced as a scenario leading up to Mists of Pandaria. In the novel, Kinndy was the daughter of Dalaran lamp-lighter
, apprenticed to Jaina at a young age due to her talent. She helped Jaina research the Focusing Iris and defend Theramore, but was sadly killed in Garrosh's mana bomb explosion.
In honor of his daughter,
lit up the city of Dalaran with images of his daughter. This tribute, several years later, has finally made its way to Legion Dalaran. When
lights up the city each night at 9pm server-time, you'll see Kinndy cheerfully waving and dancing on top of the recently-lit light.
Chris Metzen on the Movie Set
revealed some behind-the-scenes footage of Chris Metzen on set as a turbaned perfume vendor, along with a closer look at the streets of Stormwind. As the vice president of story and franchise development at Blizzard, Metzen has shaped much of Blizzard's lore over the years, so it's fascinating to see how he reacts to the film crew interpreting a world he helped create.
