The Mage Tower is up once again on NA realms, from the morning of April 29th through May 2nd.\r
The Mage Tower unlocks the
perk, which always provides the following benefits when the building is active:\r
A Portal Network spawns inside the Mage Tower, which contains portals leading to all other Broken Isle zones - Suramar, Val'sharah, Highmountain, Stormheim, and Azsuna.\r
Veiled Wyrmtongue Caches spawn across the Broken Shore, which have a chance to contain

. This can help you reach Legionfall War Turn-ins faster for reputation.\r

There have been many updates to artifact weapons since we last previewed them on the 7.2 PTR, including Infinite Traits, new Artifact costs, and more! Here's our updated rundown of what's coming for Artifacts in the patch, plus a video previewing one of the new Empowered Artifact questlines:\r
PTR Development Notes for Build 23578, Artifact Curve Changes, Nighthold Bosses Drop AP

Another 7.2 PTR build is on the way later today. Here's the development notes and some upcoming changes to the 7.2 Artifact Power Grind. Of particular interest in the development notes:\r
New content open for testing includes the Class Mount quests, Cathedral of Eternal Night dungeon, and Broken Shore World Bosses.\r
Mythic+ has received a variety of improvements such as new affixes, the removal of Overflowing, and adjustments to Artifact Power rewards. Longer dungeons now reward more AP!\r
Blizzard has also confirmed that their initial Artifact Knowledge and Artifact Power curves were not final in the data - the build after next should see more accurate values. Our PTR Artifact Calculator should automatically update with those values, whenever they are added.\r
Edit: following the Artifact Power discussion, Lore revealed that Nighthold bosses now drop Artifact Power in 7.1.5.

For today's Blizzard post roundup, Artifact Power in Patch 7.2 has received clarifications: Artifact Power tokens acquired before Patch 7.2 won't be usable on an Artifact Weapon that has its new 7.2 traits unlocked. A hotfix will be coming to allow players to vendor Artifact Power tokens. Don't stockpile your AP!\r
In other news, there is downtime with the WoW Token, Spanish realms are added to the English queues for group content and the amount of Honor to reach Honor Level 50 in Prestige 0 will be reduced in 7.2.

EU player Cerli <The Brigade> is the first player in the world to max out all traits on their Artifact Weapon! This requires 65,256,330 Artifact Power; 5,216,130 for the 34 primary points and 60,040,200 for Ranks 1-20 of the Bonus Trait. More details on Trait Costs in the Artifact Weapons Guide.\r
Grinding out all that Artifact Power takes a lot of Mythic+ dungeons; according to recent activity, he's up to 383 Darkheart Thicket, 818 Maw of Souls, and 444 Court of Stars clears.

Artifact Power from Quests and Treasures Scales with Knowledge

Artifact Power from quests and treasures was confirmed to scale with Artifact Knowledge today. There was a concern that one-time AP rewards with lots of power would be something players would delay turning in until they had a lot of Artifact Knowledge to scale up. On the other hand, if the quest and treasure items did not scale up, it wouldn't feel good to return to old content to get a minuscule reward.\r
In addition to scaling Artifact Power items up, they also now grant a much smaller base amount of power. These items have been updated on Wowhead, such as
