October 9th Hotfixes include changes to Mutated Masses on Mythic Fetid Devourer and Power Matrix on Mythic G'huun.

Impact of Mythic G'huun Changes
Mythic G'huun has received a few changes which should reduce the difficulty of the encounter. The
Energiematrix
no longer pacifies players on Mythic difficulty.
For those unaware, the Power Matrix is a critical part of the encounter, requiring players to pick up and move the orb across walkways along the far left and right edges of the boss room; depositing the orb causes a
Neuerschaffungsexplosion
, which is used to start Phase 2 of the encounter, and again later to reduce the bosses health. Carrying the orb will incrementally slow the players move speed until they become rooted, in which case they need to throw the Matrix to another player, but the use of abilities such as
Dämonisches Tor
and
Heldenhafter Sprung
can allow some players to quickly solo the mechanic without assistance. On Mythic difficulty, however, the Orb also pacifies the holder, ensuring that they have to work in pairs to pass the orb.

To counter this, Mythic progression guilds such as Method used four Warlocks to place two Demonic Gateways on each side, to significantly reduce time spent running and passing the Power Matrix. The first player would pick up the Orb, take the gateway to the halfway point, pass it to the second player, who would then take the second gateway to the end of the platform and deposit the Matrix. Impact of Mythic Fetid Devourer Changes
Additionally, Fetid Devourer has been made more consistent on Mythic difficulty, as the
Mutierte Masse
now appears to always spawn in the middle of the room, rather than randomly placed.
The Mutated Mass now always spawns in locations 3 or 4, rather than 1-6.
