Noxious Attempts to Balance the Most Broken Cards in Hearthstone
What are the most broken cards in all of Hearthstone? , , and . Despite the fact that there are now more than 700 official cards, chances are those are the first three that came to your mind. And while no one isn't arguing that they aren't the best drops given the mana cost, but there will always be a conversation as to whether or not Blizzard should go as far as to nerf them. Complexity's Noxious attempts to balance them all.

Ranked Player Spotlight – Fibonacci
Month after month Blizzard posts the Top 100 players from each region. Aside from the usual professional players and streamers that you see on Twitch, they're basically faceless and only identifiable by name. But Blizzard has done something cool for Fibonacci, a player who has consistently finished among the top ranks of Legend each month. It's always nice to get a peek behind the BattleTag helping everyone give his handle a face, name, and personality.

Blue Tweets: Animated Armor was Neutral, Shuffling a Card Shuffles Your Entire Deck, & More
We're glad to let you know there's a good chunk of blue tweets to share with you this week. Though there's always the usual (looking at you buying card backs) we also have a look at what happens behind the scenes in Hearthstone. In addition, cards like , , and don't just shuffle that one card into your deck, they actually shuffle your entire deck in doing so. We take a look at exactly how Blizzard explains it.

Second Take: The Druid Combo
A couple of weeks ago we took some time to discuss the Druid Combo of and . In it we highlighted some pro player comments, touched on ramifications of changes, and proposed solutions. Ben Brode and Dean Ayala Talk About Creating the Discover Mechanic
It's always cool to get some perspective on some of the challenges the Blizzard team faces when dealing with creating new content. The League of Explorers focused around the new Discover mechanic which allows players to add one of three randomly selected cards to their hand. As we've...discovered over time, the selection pool is limited to your specific class and those that are neutral with a much higher chance of class cards being displayed as an option. Recently,
IGN
posted an interview with Lead Designer Ben Brode and Associate Designer Dean Ayala to discuss the rationale behind the release.

Blue Posts: Blizzard Addresses Communication & Deck Slots
The latest
Designer Insights entry with Lead Designer Ben Brode
was interesting as it seeks to help clear up some fog between the development team and the community, specifically when it comes to content updates. And while Brode himself took some time to
respond to comments
via Twitter and Reddit, Community Manager Zeriyah did the same over on the Hearthstone forums. The conversation, which started off talking about the video itself, eventually evolved to be a discussion on Blizzard's communication with its players.

Blizzard: Continued Actions Against Botting In Hearthstone
Look around the popular Hearthstone communities and you'll probably notice someone complaining about encountering a plethora of Secret Paladin bots. Regrettably, they're not just confined to just a few incidents here and there. Is A Reno Jackson Nerf Inevitable?
Regardless of whether you love or hate , one thing is for certain: he's dominantly slowed down the Hearthstone meta unlike any other card before him. And while some may complain about him being frustrating to play against - especially when he completely restores their opponent's health just before defeat - others rejoice as he's brought much needed fresh air into an otherwise dry meta. Though we've only had him in our collections for about two months, some are worried that he may cause issues in the future.

The Highest Rated and Most Popular Decks from 2015
Over the past year, you've all been hard at work uploading decks to our database, up-voting the ones that work, and discussing how to improve them. A game designer on the title, he's well versed on the balance of these two cards, commonly known as the Druid Combo, and how they actually perform across the wide range of ranks and game modes. There have always been advocates for nerfing one of the two, but for so long it's been baked in as part of the class' identity and eliminating it could drastically change its performance as a whole.
