William woke up, rubbing his eyes and rising from bed. It was a new day now, the sun shining down on his face from a window. He put his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, stretching his arms and limbs. He felt rather refreshed from the night's sleep, not having a decent sleep in months. He walked across the room where a meal had been setup by servents, consisting of berries and fruits.
William began to eat them, enjoying the taste and texture of all the exotic fruits. Eventually he noticed a note that was by the tray, picking it up and reading it.
"Dear William,
The trip to Southshore will be soon after the break of dawn. I wish I could send you by gryphon, but due to circumstances lately, I could really use you on helping out an escort of supplies to southshore. If you do not accept, I understand. However, if you do, please meet up with Drill Sergeant York, you'll be shown the way there. Best of luck lad!" - Magni William stared at the note, feeling rather cheated that he had to help with some escort. He sighed, figuring it was better then having no one to watch his back incase of attacks. William quickly retrived his mace and shield that had been placed next to his bed. William equipped it all and left the room, a servant outside waiting for him.
The servant motioned to William for him to follow, William nodding and doing so. The two walked down long and dim hallways, walking in silence. After a couple of minutes, they arrived in a room that was filled with guns, soldiers, generals, and aircraft launching off.
"Right this way" the servant said, William following the dwarf servant across the room. Ahead was a man screaming at the top of his lungs at other soldiers, never stopping and yelling at them inches from their faces.
"Sergeant, we have the man that Magni wanted here" the dwarf said, York turning around to see William.
"Well aren't you something special" York said in a rather sarcastic tone, almost sounding angry even.
"I'll beat you down until there's nothing left" York said, pushing William into the line of soldiers...

Balazan stared into the dark cloudy skies, his eyes glowing a fel green as he looked at the undead land of the eastern plaguelands. The orc warlock walked back into the house, demon minions following him as he did so. The orc was rather old, having been around since the opening of the Dark Portal. His body was riddled with scars, his soul blackened from his actions in the past.
"Imp! Come!" Balazan barked, the imp jumping up to him, fel fire burning at its hands. Balazan reached his hand out, sucking the life away from the imp as it screeched in pain, disappearing. The warlock smiled, laughing at the sight and walking further into the house. The orc walked to his room, which contained many shards that held the souls of many people. He walked up to an large orb, placing his hand on it and releasing power.
Inside the orb he could feel the presence of a great demon, communicating with it now that the orb was stabilized.
"My master.." the orc said, bowing its head.
"Balazan, you have taken long to finish the new portal for my return. You will finish this soon, or I will have your death" the demon said.
"Forgive me master, but the portal will be ready soon enough, my plans have already been set in motion" Balazan said.
"Do not fail me.." the demon said, beginning to fade away.
"Yes Kil'jaeden" the orc said, the orb's connection fading away...

William had been fitted with a standard
Alliance soldier gear. The Drill Sergeant had moved William to a the escort group, a few people already there. The transportation was horses and a carriage, along with a small engine in the back. One of the people he reconized from before.
"Alright, here's the escort that your part of now. Your in the Ironforge military until I say your done" York said, introducing each person.
"This is Vasagroth, our dwarf warrior" York said, pointing at the dwarf. He was rather well built, his beard not very long though.
"We have our gnomish engineer and mage, Marvin" the sergeant said, pointing to the driver. The gnome looked rather young, his hair blue and surrounded in gadgets.
"Then we have our priest there, Sandra" the man said, pointing a human. She had long brown hair, her face smooth and her eyes shining. William was gazing at her for a moment until he was suddenly slapped by York.
"What the hell was that for!" William barked.
"Because you weren't paying attention!" York retorted.
"And lastly... what the hell is your name.." York said, flipping through some papers in his hand.
"The name is Doomwhisper" the last soldier said.
