Just to copy this from the older threat and emphasize what Lynri means by:
This makes DW tanking SLIGHTY more viable. This does NOT mean it IS viable.
I just want to throw in some thoughts about the new DW talent slated to come in.
Please, everyone, don't go crazy thinking this is going to legitimize DW tanking. There are still downfalls to using two weapons:
You still need a tremendous amount of hit to ensure solid threat production which means fewer gems/enchants for stacking stamina and avoidance.
Stoneskin Gargoyle remains an incredibly powerful tool to save gem slots/enchants that would otherwise have to go towards +defense.
Unless higher levels of gear give us crazy amounts of hit and defense, there's just no way you can make up for the simplicity of a two-handed weapon with SSG.
DW DPS on the other hand looks like its going to make a very solid comeback and I am rather excited about that.

I'm certainly not one to go to for DPS advice, but it sounds intriguing. The only problem I can see is that dedicating two glyphs to buff an ability you'll use once per rotation. I'm thinking along the lines of:
IT->BT->Oblit->Oblit->BS->DC (dot added)->FS till runes refresh
Oblit->Oblit->IT->BS->DC (refresh dot)->FS till refresh.
Because there is still a hit in damage from strikes due to lower weapon damage of a 1hander, I wonder if PS will have to factor in to a rotation for extra disease damage modifier.
IT->PS->Oblit->BS->BS->DC->FS
Oblit->Oblit->IT->IT->DC->FS
I'm thinking maybe glyph of frost strike over Dark Death?
Edit: Oh, I missed the accumulating charge thing. Not too familiar with the two abilities they referenced.
Maybe if you front-load some DCs and then going into a more FS heavy rotation using once DC to then refresh the dot?
IT->PS->OB->BS->BS->DC till empty
OB->OB->IT->IT->DC (refresh)->FS (repeat this for rest of fight)
Depending on the dot, I can see the ability to spam more frost strikes throughout a fight helping more than say a more powerful dot.

Actually, I just read the ignite talent and am now a little confused about the dot. If it just one dot that doesn't have a stacking effect, just a refreshing effect (although possible to replace with a more powerful effect), then I'm leaning more heavily towards FS glyph since you'll get more mileage from that in a rotation since I see using DC once every set of rune cooldowns.
If there is a stacking component to the dot, then Dark Death has a little more potency.

I kinda feel sorry for the unholy tree though. Their single target dps has gone up, but their aoe is now relegated back to only BB and DnD. I was thinking about the DW build we've been talking about and though, "Wow, there is 0 aoe except for DnD." Of course, I forgot about BB but I dunno how much damage that adds when you can only hit 2 per rune set.

Threat of Thassarian: New 3-point talent. When dual-wielding, your Death Strikes, Obliterates, Plague Strikes, Blood Strikes and Frost Strikes have a 30/60/100% chance to also deal damage with your off-hand weapon. Off-hand strikes are roughly one half the effect of the original strike.
-
The Bane to All 2h Frost dps'ers....
- This makes DW possible now, depending on where this is in frost you'll see a wide variety of heavy Frost/unholy dw'ers again. I feel the comings of anything 32/39 spec in the making >.< It's really going to be saddening as I'll have to face a worse bias as a Frost dps being a 2h then DW as well as being Frost.
- This makes DW tanking
SLIGHTY
more viable. This
does NOT
mean it
IS
viable.
- With the nerf to Frost Strike's weapon damage base it could also be viewed as making DW more effective for Frost.
I'm not sure I understand how this causes problems for 2h frost DPS. You can always just not take the talent, as with NoCS, are you saying the problem is people who don't really know Death Knights are going to assume that you have to DW if you go frost, which might make it hard to get into pugs as a 2h frost dps DK?

Well, I am sorry Lynri but I won't be responding. I've written like a 20 paragraphs reply, and I've managed to lose it when I accidentally pressed the backspace key…
All in all, I'm very happy with these changes and I hope a lot of bad DK will stop playing the class altogether because it isn't that cheated anymore. Go pew-pew with your paladin, you silly donkey fools!
(Hopefully, it will reduce the amount of stupid thread we've seen recently: “r8 my ossom built olol”.)

Ctrl - Z ?
To be honest, I use a Mac and an AZERTY keyboard so your point make no sense at all. Though I bet you're treating me names :)
